Sigma digital SLR camera uses compact flash (CF) memory card for storing digital photos and videos it records. Before using CF memory card it needs to be formatted as this makes the card free from error and makes it less corruption prone. Still, chance of corruption is always there and if you do so after capturing new pictures they will be deleted with card format. In order to get back those photos photo recovery needs to be done if you don’t have a backup of those photos.
For example, consider the case in which you took several photos with your camera and they are all saved in the CF card. Once of all, while saving a picture the camera shuts down abruptly due to low battery. Later when you recharge and switch on the camera, to take pictures you will be given a message as “error writing to CF card”. It could be because read/write operation might be going when the camera switched off. This error continues to occupy the screen and you can’t even view the previous images on the card.
It is so because the memory card file system structure is damaged due to interruption in read/write operation which cannot be fixed usually.
To resolve the problem, you will once again have to format the card. Along with solving the error it also deletes the photos. But, that’s not a matter to really worry upon as lost or deleted photos can be retrieved with stellar photo recovery. It is an advanced tool supporting recovery of photos from all types of camera card with out any difficulty with its efficient techniques quickly and completely.
